Jeremy & Allison · Morais Vineyard Wedding Photographer

When I first met with Jeremy at a little cafe in DC I knew that I was going to love photographing his and Allison's wedding. Jeremy just seemed too excited about helping with the wedding planning (finding the photographer), but I soon figured out that he and Allison were always like this-just fun to be around and contagiously happy! Their wedding day was full of excitement and laughter! They were each getting to marry the love of their life and you could just tell by the joy they spread to everyone throughout the day. Jeremy and Allison first met during their medical residency several years ago and it was love at first sight, so everyone else was also excited that they were FINALLY going to tie the knot.  It's probably hard to find time when you and your finace are both pediatricians though! I know, too cute! When Allison arrived at the vineyard with her girlfriends they all had matching monogrammed shirts and sunglasses which were perfect for this bright, sunny Saturday. Allsion's dress was simply stunning and looked so gorgeous with her long lace veil.

At the start of the ceremony the groomsmen walked in and then the girls followed, but THEN the most serious flower girl I have ever seen started marching down the sidewalk, slowly and purposefully, picking flowers out of her basket and dropping them to the ground! It was precious! After that, I loved getting to spend some time doing photographs with the family and bridal party. They even brought out their sunglasses for a cool shade picture. At the reception, good food, amazing toasts, and crazy dancing followed. Jeremy and Allison are such sweet, calm people that I did not expect them to be on the dance floor the whole night and the life of the party for that matter! From start to finish this day was such a joy to shoot and I am so thankful that they chose me to share this day with them! Congrats Allison and Jeremy! Here are my favorites from their special day!

Thanks so much to my awesome second shooter, Hope, for getting shots of Jeremy getting ready!

Yes, they were even dancing on the way to the ice cream bar!
